First and foremost, I must show you a picture of our completed fireplace. In the previous posts there are pictures of what it used to look like. I am so proud of my handyman husband who worked on this....laid the tile himself and built the hearth and mantle with his own two hands.
Because I have to be just like my sister, Christy, I worked on a project too, only a bit different than hers. She posted about her "PEACE" today.
Anna Claire received her first Christmas ornament in the mail from Didi and Papa. I absolutely love it! It is a Lenox 2009 "Baby's First Christmas."
This picture is for Mom and Christy so they can see the tree skirt. It looks perfect doesn't it? Christmas came a bit early for me...My "oh so crafty" Mom made it as a gift! (Mom...the "3" is on the candlestick).
And of course, I can't leave you without a couple shots of our girl. We visited family in Alabama for Thanksgiving and my husband's cousin took some pictures for us. This will be the last time Anna Claire wears this jumper for pictures--she chewed on the buckle the entire time! Here is a little peek!

Okay... where should I begin?
Anna Claire is too cute (so are you and Mike) as always in these pictures. What a big girl she is!!!
Great choice for the red on the plaques. I want some red ones now.
The tree skirt... you will have to send me a bigger picture so I can see it up close. I'm sure I will want one of those too.(I know you read this Mom so you can add that to my list)
And well, the star with the 3 on it. I have one with a 5 but I bet you knew that already. And mine is hanging on a lamp.
Oh, I can't forget to compliment Mike on the fireplace. Mike... you ROCK!!!
Just like Christy...I'm unsure where to start.
-Anna Claire, well I could just eat her up every time I see her. Lucky for me, I get to see her quite often.
-YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!!
-J-O-Y...so cute. Ended it up just like I envisioned when you were describing it.
-Fireplace...oh my...way to go Mike. Can't wait to see it in person. He did such a great job. I'm sure you're thrilled to have it done.
-Tree skirt...that is so beautiful. I can't wait to get my mitts on it and look at it close up. Good job Mom! You're quiltiness and sewing always gives me ideas.
Between that skirt and the "JOY" ("PEACE") pojects...I've got some work to do!
Love you....
BTW...the previous Anonymous post of from me...
Addie (forgot to mention that!)
I want a little girl like Anna Claire of my own for Christmas! Love the way everything looks!!!!So festive and fun!!!!
I cannot believe it's almost Christmas already. This year has gone by so fast. Anyway, I looove the way your home is decorated. The tree next to the fireplace(hanging stockings, great) looks wonderful.
