When we returned from Christmas in Ohio, we had one goal. Finish the bathroom before Mike went back to work on the 5th. I am happy to say that when we have guests over, they now can use a bathroom that doesn't take them back to 1994 with the turquoise faux painting.
This is before...
This is after!!!!!!
My mom, the master of fabrics, made these curtains for me. They are perfect!
This is the amazing tile job Mike did--he did the shower and the floors
For a Christmas present, my mom embroidered these towels for our bathroom.
The cabinet looks 100% better now that it is painted!
While I was in Ohio, my mom got a hold of the shower curtain and added a little bit of embellishment to it to tie it into the curtains. She added the plaid fabric around the "C."
After we got done we both said we wanted to sleep in the bathroom because we liked it so much!
Guess what we are working on now? I'll give you a hint..."Lightly Lilac!"

I love it Sarah! It came out great and how nice to have things made by your Mom in there. Very, very nice :)
Wow! It looks awesome! It has a totally new personality. I wouldn't have even known it was the same bathroom. Your hubby did an awesome job on the tile! Was it a challenging project for him? Had he done it before? I have the exact same hook that your towels are hung on. It holds my aprons in our kitchen. :)
I can't believe it! Is it really the same bathroom?! You did an AWESOME job!!! I can't wait to come and stay just so that I can use that pretty bathroom. Love it all... the towel hooks, the colors, the shower curtain, and especially the little fleur de lis!!! Love it, love it!!!
Fantastic! you did it! I have been waiting to see your room reveal. I love the entire room. You have a lot of style. Makes me want to come and visit. And thanks for your sweet comment today. Ditto! :) Blessings.
This looks sooooo wonderful. You did a great job. The fabrics tie in so nicely together, without being too 'matchy.' And I love the cabinet! Great job, and thanks for sharing!
Oh my goodness! Your bathroom is beautiful! I love the yellow walls (gorgeous color!) that you paired with the black and white here and there! I also chuckled at what you said about wanting to sleep in there now. Our hall bath was the first room we really remodeled, and I wanted to live in there, it was so nice compared to the rest of our house! :) Okay, and my guess on the room you're working on now is...your new baby's room?
Hey Sarah! It's Jannell Barefoot. Marilyn told me about your blog a few weeks back and I have loved reading it and seeing your photos! I loved the Christmas photo and am so excited to attend your baby shower!!
Great job on the bathroom!! I've been wanting to paint our half-bath vanity black and now I'm really dying to get it done after seeing yours.
I LOVE how your bathroom turned out Sarah! The color on the walls looks so pretty with all your accents. I am very impressed! :) And I have to say that I was plastered in front of the Bachelor last night too...I was so excited when they picked the single dad to be on the show. It's fun to have something like this to look forward to in January, right? Carrie

It looks really really good! Any tips on painting the bathroom vanity? We have early 90s oak vanities that are screaming for a coat of paint! :)

It turned out wonderful! WOW! What a transformation! Haha! I love the colors you chose. The shower looks incredible!
What kind of soap dispenser do you have there at the sink? I tried to enlarge the picture to look at it but couldn't see it...hehe!
