Mothers

This past week, my mom, aka "Didi" came for a visit. I'm not sure she could get enough of Anna Claire. And vice versa.

Anna Claire found a new spot! We found that this position soothes her instantly. Although, I have to say, that she rarely cries and when she does it is because she is hungry or has something going on in her pants. She is a very content baby!

Tomorrow is her original (full term) due date. It's amazing to think that she might still be inside of me had I not gone early!

Anna Claire's BFF was born last week! We can't wait to get the two little girls together.
Welcome Abigail Mae and congratulations Brad and Nicole--we love you!

Anna Claire may be content, but Rebecca looks pretty content too! I have a feeling that you also found a position that soothes Rebecca immediately as well!

Another hidden blessing in having Anna Claire come early... you're not the anxious "get this baby out of me!" mom wating on "the day"!

I'm so happy that Anna Claire is doing so well. You are blessed with a beautiful family - enjoy them!

So glad your mom and Anna Claire got to spend so much time together. There is something about how a grandmother can hold and soothe a baby!

Have a blessed week...

Oh, that picture of Anna's new favorite position brings back so many memories of my daughter's first months. Even though it was a hot, sweaty summer, she sat right there on me for HOURS. :)
I've been so thrilled to follow your sweet baby girl's birth and progress! It's wonderful to see how good God is yet another new little life.

I think one of the strangest realizations for me when my babies were born was 'all of you was inside of me?!' I can imagine it's a little odd to look at her and realize that even though you've known her for a while now she could still fit inside of you and potentially would still be there. Life is so mysterious!
