A Birthday Letter
There is so much I want to tell you and share with both you of all that has happened in this last year. You would have been 2 years old today. Some days it feels just like yesterday you were born, others it feels like a lifetime ago. Regardless, I miss you....terribly. We are going to visit the memorial garden today and have a picnic. My heart aches to have you here, eating cake and singing "Happy Birthday." We will sing together soon though and I know the songs you are singing now are the most beautiful anyone has ever heard.
You are big sisters now! Anna Claire was born in February and captured our hearts the moment we heard her first cry. We tell her about you and one day will share the beautiful pictures we have of you. I know you two would have been amazing big sisters.
I want you to know that people remember you...cards are sent...flowers sit on our table...friends ask about your lives and strangers want to know your story. We remember you everyday, but especially today, Allison Elizabeth and Emily Ann, on your birthday.
Rest in the arms of Jesus, sweet girls...until we can hold you again.
We love you,
Mommy, Daddy and Anna Claire

Praying for you today. What a beautiful letter to your sweet girls.
How beautiful! I have tears bluring my vision, and am praying for the Lord to make this a sweet day for all of you - those of you here on earth, and your two precious ones in His arms. Extra sweet for everyone today...
With love to you all... Jennifer
Happy Birthday Allison and Emily. I miss you.
Love,
Grandpa
So very beautiful Sarah!!! Praying that God's comfort wrap you in it's arms today!!
What a sweet post for your angel babies. You are in my thoughts and prayers today.
Happy birthday, sweet girls. If Heaven allows for birthday cake, will you be sweet enough to share with Duncan? Oh, how I wish I would have gotten to know you like I will get to know your sweet little sister, but I will see you someday. Until then....
Just stumbled upon your blog, not by coincidence I guess. I lost our second daughter 5 years ago in July. Much the same as you. Praying for you today. Peace in knowing they are waiting for us, just as we are waiting for them.
I came to your blog to read about your French country posts. Your post about your daughters was so sweet and special. What a wonderful time it will be in Heaven when you see them again.
Your girls brought you to me... the first post of yours I read was about the two of them... I am blessed by you in so many ways and blessed by the lives of your sweet girls as well.
My heart is overflowing with emotion after reading your love letter to your girls.
What beautiful names for your beautiful gals! I love that you told them that people remember them - so true.

Hello...I haven't "met" you before, but found your blog via Nicole Baart's. Your letter today touched my heart so much on so many levels. As a mom of five (one of which is named Emily), you have pulled tears from my heart. May God continue to comfort your mama heart...
Prayers for you...
Bina
