She did so well in her crib. She stayed on schedule and woke up with a happy face this morning. I even got a smile out of her at 3:00am! What joy to see that little face looking up at me. I told my husband this morning that she seems so independent now. Is this what it is going to feel like, when 15 years from now, she is going to ask me to drop her off a few blocks from the mall?
Papa and Didi (my parents) and Mimi (my grandmother) will be here this afternoon. We are so excited to have them come and visit for a couple of days. There is an actual move that is going to happen--my parents are moving to Virginia in June so this will be one of the last times they get to see Anna Claire before we go out to visit them in July--Anna Claire's first road trip.
Thank you for all of your encouraging comments! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed weekend!

I'm glad you both had a good night. Enjoy your family this weekend.
She really is precious...and it looks like she really did sleep well in her room. Love the expression on her face...too cute! Have a wonderful time with your family.
YAY for you and Anna Claire. She is just so adorable! I know she slept GREAT in her wonderful crib. Yep, keep your eyes on her she will be off to school before you blink an eye!!!!!!
Yay Anna Claire (and Mommy)! That's a big milestone!
I am so glad you survived!! (Notice I didn't say Anna Claire...I am sure she was fine!) Now that you've done it once, it will never have to be that hard again! As for us, I will admit...my husband turned to me yesterday and said "I'm not sure I'm ready to put Henry in his crib yet, because then I can't cuddle him as much." My response? OKAY! Let's keep him with us for a few more weeks! :) So I know we still have to make the switch, but I think I may put it off just a little longer. Am I a big wimp or what?

glad to hear things went smoothly. she is such a little doll!
Such a beauty! Looks like her mama!! And how blessed to get a smile at 3 am. Cherish this time...don't blink for a minute...hold her close...and take lots of pictures with your heart. It helps to have something to look back on when they get older and start sprouting wings.
