3 Years

Happy Birthday Allison and Emily, my sweet girls.

I woke up with tears ready to fall from my eyes, not sure if I was dreaming or just woke up anticipating today. 3 years old--I say it every year---it seems like forever ago that I held you but in the same breath and moment it feels like just yesterday. What would a birthday party for 3 year old girls look like? Only Jesus knows as I am sure you are celebrating in heaven.

There are so many things going through my mind. Things that I want to say and share about you. But I will keep it simple because it comes down to just a few things...

You are loved. You are missed. I can't wait to hold you again.

There really is nothing I could say to offer comfort except that my heart holds you in prayer, and in rejoicing that they celebrate with Jesus. Hugs ~ Merana

Words cannot express the loneliness I feel today. My beautiful granddaughters are so loved and missed.
Heaven is a better place because you are both there.

They have been on my mind so much recently. I've been thinking much of Duncan, and experiencing a lot of those emotions you just shared. And then I pause, and think, Sarah has done this for twice as long..how does she do it?

But I know how you do it, and you are en example to me. Love you, sweet friend.

Happy birthday, girls. Make sure my boy gets a piece of cake.

Love you, friend. Your heart does not ache alone nor will you rejoice alone when you and Mike are reunited with your girls.

My heart is with you,
