It is a combination of noodles, chili, beans, onions and cheese and some oh so good yumminess! Actually you can fix it anyway you like--the way I described it above is a "5-way"; that's northern talk for having it topped with all the extras. Sometimes people even order it "inverted" so that the cheese and beans are covered by the noodles and chili so that they melt. I've tried other recipes (Southern Living has one) but honestly the best one comes from a mix that you can only get in the OH/KY grocery stores or by ordering online.
Whenever someone comes to visit from home, I have them bring some packets and next week when we go to Ohio for Christmas, I'll be making a stop at Kroger to stock up!!!
Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Yum Yum Yum!!! Of course now I want a 3-Way....and a cheese coney! I always try to eat at Skyline when I am home, but then as soon as I get back to Colorado I start craving it again! :)

Mmmmmmm...I love me some Skyline Chili (3-way, please)! Oooh, or a Skyliner or two. Okay, now I'm craving it, and I'm 3 hours away from the closest one!
Skyline Is the one I've had! :) Love it. I always ask my girlfriend here from Ohio about it. :) Wonder if our Kroger would carry it? :)
That sounds delicious!! I just love chili!
mmmmmmmmmm. that looks yummy! I have never heard of that! I am from the East Coast, but lived in Indiana for 4 years. Sorry I missed out!
Hey again girl! Your post reminded me that I needed to "place an order" with my mom for some Skyline...she is coming out here for Christmas! Would it be wrong to serve 3-Ways for Christmas dinner instead of beef tenderloin or something like that? No one would mind, right? :) (I know you wouldn't, too bad you can't join us!)

That actually sounds pretty good. Yum.
Mmmmm, I'm from Cincinnati and I love me some Skyline! Whenever I go home to visit, I pick up a few cans of Skyline Chili and pack them in my bag to come back to Texas with me. :)
