Monday

For Today
Outside my window: The sun is shining and it is already in the 60's!
I am thinking: about my husband...he just left for work.
I am thankful for: Sunday--we went to church, then to fellowship group and then came home and spent the day together as a family.
From the kitchen: made a good casserole from the current issue of Southern Living. We are still eating off it.
I am wearing: still in my jammies...it's only 6:30am.
I am reading: Still reading "The Passion of Mary Margaret" by Lisa Samson, although I have been going back to "BabyWise" and "What to Expect the First Year" a lot this week.
I am hoping: That the bug bites I got from the softball tournament this weekend stop itching!
I am creating: a grocery list.
I am hearing: The morning news and a mocking bird outside on our deck.
Around the house: Need to clean/dust the floors. Love hardwood floors but can't stand the dust that accumulates! Any suggestions????
One of my favorite things: Seeing Anna Claire in her summer outfits. The crawler outfits from Carter's are too cute!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Softball games through Wednesday, lunch with some friends from the church we used to go to, and then my parents and grandmother are coming into town this weekend! Anna Claire will get to meet her great-grandmother and My dad hasn't seen Anna Claire since she was in the NICU! I can't wait to see him love on her!

I am loving the warmer weather too. Little girl's spring/summer outfits are always the cutest...how I miss those days! I have found that my wood floors are not as dusty once we stop using the heat but get worse again when I open the windows...I just use the swiffer a lot!

Hey Sarah, what a neat little daybook to capture your thoughts. Love the What to Expect books too. I remember using them often. I agree with the hard wood floors, love them but hate the dust that accumulates. Sorry, no suggestions for that. I just vacuum a lot or swiffer it. Looks like you're in for a busy week...but a fun one too. Hope your time with family will be a blessed one. Also, so sorry to hear about Mike's stolen identity. Just noticed that...how awful. I hope it was all taken care of without much hassle.

Could we borrow some of your sunshine? :) I shouldn't complain because we have had some sunbreaks in the last couple of days...I love your "Monday journaling". :) I hope you have a wonderful time with your family this weekend! :)

I am jealous of your warmer weather! Enjoy every minute before it gets all hot and sweaty and summer-y! (Although I secretly love that weather too...humidity reminds me of Ohio and home!) :)

I have to comment because I've been hunting for something for my wood floors for weeks now! I finally am trying a blue Quickie mop that I got from the grocery store; dust sticks to the mop head when I use it dry, and you can also use it wet. I spray it with Murphys. When it's dirty, you just throw it in the washing machine. Pretty handy and it does a much better job than the Wet Swiffer thingy. Just my opinion, of course. :)
