Counting #61-70

I came off of a very busy week to being knocked off my feet for 2 weeks. Literally. Some sort of upper-respiratory flu/virus/gross thing got me good this spring. I'm still tired but do feel like I'm finally on the mend. I have to be honest, during those days it was difficult to find something to be thankful for, other than handkerchiefs, Halls cough drops and my pillow.

61. finally starting to feel better after 10 days of sickness
62. good OB appointment; she is measuring on time and heartbeat sounds great
63. family and friends who sacrificed A LOT to help us while I was sick
64. A 2 year-old who is very resilient
65. March 31--on this day 5 years ago Mike and I shared pizza on our first date.

66. Chicken pot pie from Bob and Jayne
67. Flowers from Mike
68. Rest on Sunday afternoon
69. Vegetable seeds ordered for our garden
70. Experiencing peace after battling with envy

Regarding #65, I think a couple of weeks later you started showing up at HF softball games. The girls sure were excited about that!

I appreciate your openness about battling with envy, we all have struggled with that one, even in the blogosphere!

I’m here from Ann’s.

And of your list this week, this is my favorite: 63. family and friends who sacrificed A LOT to help us while I was sick (because, well, I know you don’t know me – but I’m thankful for this post coming at this time – it’s a big HUGE trial out of nowhere for me – and it will have to be gone through – and there really aren’t family and friends to help – so I’m praying for – well – you know – THE family to lend a hand. If not I’ll go through it without help – but with Him anyway – it helps to have help – or at least prayer from friends) Thank you.

God bless you and keep you – and all of yours.

Such a great list today, in spite of hearing of your illness. And I'm with Craig on this one, it's the help you get when you are feeling so down. I truly understand!!!! Hope you are feeling better and putting away that box of tissues!!!

I would love if you would talk more about battling with envy. This is my struggle right now (well, that, and inadequacy). If you're up to a deep post, that is! :)
