Kristen at Over the Backyard Fence is hosting a tree trimming party (blog style of course) and you are invited! I have my ornaments ready to go! Be sure to visit and let her know what you will be bringing!

Here are the ones I'm bringing...

My mom made this last year after our daughters were born. It is made from the same fabric that their baby quilt is made out of.

Every year we pick out a new ornament to represent that year. In May, we went to Chicago for vacation and we picked this up.

This Partridge in a Pear Tree ornament has hung on our tree since I was a baby. I think my parents got it when I turned one. It has survived everything from basement floods to moving!

The first year we were married (we celebrate 2 years on the 22nd!) we were in Mexico for Christmas on our honeymoon cruise!!! So in honor of 2006, I found this cruise ship!

And for just a couple other fun things; one year, Christy and I made these signs for friends and family.
This year, I found this pretty cardinal. I have it sitting on my mantle with my other birds.

I would love to see what you will be bringing to the party!!!

It's fun to see your ornaments through your blog since I can't see it in person. I totally forgot about the one form when you were little. Remember our Bert and Ernie ornaments? :)

We were SO ahead of our time with those signs weren't we?

What sweet ornaments! I love getting one that represents what we did that year. This year we went to Mexico to celebrate our 4th anniversary so I found an ornament that is a Spanish guitar that says "Feliz Navidad" on the guitar strap. :)

I love to see all your cute ornaments. We do the same, when we go on a trip we get cute ornaments. We have a cruise ship from our 15 anniversary and I love your cute heart pillow. I have a heart like that we got when our oldest daughter was born. I love that you have a special ornament from your childhood. Those are special treasures!

That "cardinal" looks a little like a Cedar Waxwing! Still cute, though ;)

I love the ornament with your girls' baby quilt material. It is so precious, and such a sweet way to remember them every year. I have my first baby's first ultrasound photo in a little silver frame. (We had a miscarriage before Nina was born.) We get it out every year, and of course there are tears but it is such a perfect way to honor the baby and remember him/her. Also to make it more real for my daughter. It's part of Christmas, just as much as all the other stuff!
