It's Friday!

We had such a nice time with Brad and Nicole last night. Before they came over, I was able to take a few pictures of our Christmas decorations.

The red glassware that I have on our mantle was used in our wedding 2 years ago. Since we got married on the 22nd of December, we decided to use the colors of the season. It was so beautiful! My mom did all of the decorating and found tons of this glassware. As I was getting the pieces out to decorate I was reminded of how beautiful our wedding was. It will be nice to be able to use these vases and votives for years to come and to share the memories of them!

Notice the stockings...my sister, Christy, shared the story behind them here. I received a card from Aunt Margie and she has promised another stocking as soon as the baby girl inside of me arrives (if we could decide on a name now, I could have her make it, but being the indecisive one in the marriage, she goes by a different name every day. I just can't make up my mind!)

As a wedding present, my Aunt Beth started a Christmas dish collection for us. These are the Spode Christmas tree pattern. I love them so much and wish I could use them all year round!!!!

Clearly, the Cranberry Bog was a hit!

Enjoy your Friday!

I love that red glassware, AND, of course, I esp. love that it was used in your wedding and you get to use it every year!

The story your sister shared about the stockings and y'all's Aunt Margie was so sweet and so special! I love that this new baby is getting one soon!

Cranberry bog...I love cranberries...that sounds and looks delish!

It looks so pretty!!! I am so glad you posted these pictures so that I could see your home at Christmas. If that little cardinal comes up missing, don't think it was me.

Don't you think the cranberry bog is even better the second day? That is if you had any left!

I just caught up on the last few posts. First, love the new background. Second, I request the cranberry bog when you come for diner. And third, can we still be friends if I tell you I abhor Skyline?

I can verify that the bog was delicious, as well as the rest of the meal. The only thing "unsettling" was the sight of that crazy bird. :) Thank you for letting us share in your first Christmas in your new home, you guys have done an excellent job making it warm. The tile isn't bad either. Looking forward to blog vote for baby name!

I love your tree and your decorations. The red glassware is gorgeous and what a wonderful memory of your wedding day! The story Christy shared about the stockings is heartwarming and I can't wait to see the newest stocking that will be "hung by the chimney w/ care"!

That Spode pattern is one of my favs!

Merry Christmas my Friend!
