Focaccia Bread
2 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp white sugar
1 Tblsp active dry yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried basil
1 pinch black pepper
1 Tblsp vegi oil
1 cup water
2 Tblsp olive oil
1 Tblsp grated Parmesan
1 cup mozzarella (I didn't have any, so I just used the Parmesan)
1. stir together flour, salt, sugar, yeast, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, basil and pepper. Mix in vegi oil and water.
2. When dough pulls together, turn it out on a lightly floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic. Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough in the bowl, and turn to coat with oil. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 450. Punch dough down, place on greased baking sheet. Pat into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Brush top with olive oil. Sprinkle with cheeses.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. ENJOY!

How fun to go to the flea market! I wish we had one of those that comes every so often. I mean we have great flea market stores but a "traveling" one sounds like so much fun! :)
Wow, I'm jealous of that fabric, you've got great taste. I hope you find that table. I found a dresser today at a antique store that I feel in love with. It's 90 dollars though, not bad, but I don't have ninety dollars. I'll save up, hope it's still there.
I have a SURPRISE for you on my blog!!!
I love going to the flea market! Good luck on finding a table tomorrow. Thank you so much for the focaccia recipe. It looks delicious!
I used to go to the N'ville flea market... Haven't been in a long time unfortunately. This recipe sounds so yummy...I can't wait to try it! Thanks for posting it!
Sarah,
It's me again! I made your focaccia recipe this afternoon and had to tell you it is DIVINE! When I was mixing up the dough I was overwhelmed with the yummy aroma...and I hadn't even baked it yet! Thanks again for this recipe! I know I will use it a TON when the weather turns cold!
BTW, when I was growing up (I lived in Italy) I didn't like focaccia. I much preferred panini. I always found focaccia to be too salty but this recipe was just right!
Cute finds! Love a good bargain. We, too, have a once a month flea market.
Wow, I love your fabric, and the foot stool will look great with it! :) I cant wait to see the finished product! And, you can send some of the focaccia over my way!
Your foccacia bread looks really yummy!
